Journey across the scenic islands of Goa, including Chorao - the largest of Goa’s 17 islands located in the River Mandovi, Divar - a scenic island showcasing rural Goa where life seems to have been unchanged for hundreds of years and St. Estevem - locally know as “Juvem” was once noted for its vegetables.The fort was used to house freedom fighters before the liberation of Goa in 1961. Post liberation from the Portuguese rule, the fort almost went into ruin. Later in the year 1983 the Goa Government declared it a Protected Monument. The fort may be accessed by road or by a ferry plying from Keri to Tiracol and hosts lavish dinners for its guests. Distance- 39.6kms, 1 hour 25 minutes.
