Ambika Vilas is a living heritage, 3 Suites, naalukettu-style Kerala home. Naalukettu is an ancient form of Kerala architecture, which means central open courtyard.
It is located in the heart of Trivandrum, close to the famed Padmanabhaswamy Temple. The villa has a garden which makes it a perfect sit out area, beautifully restored corridor and a tastefully decorated living room to welcome you. A common library which also open out into the "Naalukettu". The rooms are cooler even in hot summer months. Family members can gather in central courtyard which also has a dedicated dining area for meals. The high wooden ceiling made of teak wood is one of the best features of the Villa. There is an open air bathroom for one of the room which is perfect for Ayurvedic oil baths. It is also a perfect spot to watch the onset of monsoon.
