Although Mario de Miranda had not formally studied Art, he began his career as a Cartoonist for the Times of India Group in 1953 later moving into illustration and fine art. He has illustrated numerous books and was invited to sketch and exhibit in many Countries including U.S.A., Japan, Germany, Spain and France. He is also the recipient of many National and International honors. While staying at one of the best villas in Goa, you have the opportunity to experience the wonder of Mario de Miranda’s art at the Mario Miranda Art Gallery in Candolim.
